No longer needing Elora, Xantyr attempts to fracture her as he had the Astraleth before. Yet Elora's divine strength resists him, splintering into only ten warrior-selves—the greatest fracture Fate can impose upon a Lesser Deity. Nine of Elora's Fractures perish sealing Xal'Zhira within her darkened cavern, binding the Great Veldraken beneath Rhuna through their sacrifice. Only the Tenth escapes with her life, disappearing beyond Fate's reach. Believing all ten had fallen, Xantyr never realizes that one fragment of Elora still survives.

The Tenth is the last living seal. Her continued life sustains the tenth binding of Xal’Zhira’s prison. The nine others gave their lives to the sealing; she must remain alive for her seal to endure. Her name and whereabouts remain hidden from Xantyr.
