I. The Fracture of Ezhan
Deep beneath Rhuna, the body of Ezhan split apart in a violent hymn of stone and resonance. Endless yellow crystal veins tore through the dark earth, carving harmonic faultlines into the world’s bones. From these fractures came the first Song-Stones—living geodes that pulsed with unfinished sound. In the silence after the breaking, the deep places began to sing.

II. The Song-Stones
From the cavern floors and ceilings, the Song-Stones grew like clustered geodes, warm with amber light and trembling with hidden vibration. They did not hatch all at once, but ripened like notes awaiting breath. Among them moved Nazena, the first shepherd of the depths, ancient and watchful. Where Nazena passed, the stones answered.

III. The First Resonance The Song-Stones began to sing to one another across the caverns, their frequencies colliding in impossible harmony. Waves of sound rippled through crystal chambers, splitting light into endless fractures. The cavern itself became an instrument, humming with the breath of becoming. It was the first language of the Ezhani, spoken before they were born.

IV. The Breaking Hymn At the height of the resonance, the first Song-Stones shattered. From their crystal shells crawled the Ezhani—blind, trembling, pale as ash and veined with gold. Their bodies were unfinished: feathered wings half-grown, ear-stones raw and scattered across brow and jaw. They were born not from flesh, but from harmony made form.

V. Nazena’s Shepherding Nazena guided the newborn Ezhani through vibration, tapping crystal pillars and shaping paths through song. Blind and uncertain, they followed with outstretched hands, learning to feel the world through echo. Each step taught them the shape of stone, the depth of distance, the pulse of life. Nazena was their first teacher, and silence was their first lesson.

VI. The Listening Fields
The Ezhani stood motionless in the endless crystal plains, listening. Here they learned the shape of the world not through sight, but through resonance—every stone, every breath, every tremor becoming a map. The vast golden fields became their classroom. In stillness, they discovered understanding.

VII. The Echo Choir For the first time, the Ezhani sang back. Gathered in rings around resonant monoliths, their voices answered the world in layered harmony. What began as instinct became language, and what was language became memory. The first choir was born, and with it, the beginning of culture.

VIII. The Harmonic Wings As the Ezhani matured, their wings changed—feathers laced with mineral quills, shaped by resonance rather than wind. They learned to leap between crystal bridges, feeling air-pressure and vibration as one. Flight was not conquest, but communion. To move was to sing with the world.

IX. The Three Great Choirs
As their people spread, the Ezhani divided into three resonant paths. The Uldren followed Nazena’s riverways, harvesting deep-gems beneath the flooded caverns. The Vaerun ran the storm-struck glass plains, chasing the music of wind and tornado. The Solari rose into the high crystal reaches, tending the Sun-Stones and guarding the light above.

X. The Hymn of Becoming
At last, the three Choirs gathered beneath the great golden cathedrals of crystal. Thousands sang in unified resonance, their voices merging into a single living hymn. Their civilization was not forged through war or conquest, but through listening, memory, and harmony. Thus the Ezhani became the first true Songborn of Rhuna.
