I. The Fracture of Gahl Copy link
Deep within the Halderin, Gahl split in two—fire and frost tearing through stone like opposing bloodlines. Ironwoods ignited on one side while glaciers surged on the other. The mountain became a wound of heat and cold, forever divided. From this violent break, the first paths of the Gahlians were born.

II. The Mothers Stir Copy link
From the divided wilds emerged the first shepherds: Iathar, Elk-Mother of flame, and Tieriess, Bear-Mother of frost. Ancient and colossal, they walked the newborn lands as living instincts of survival. They did not speak. They watched. And they waited for their children to rise.

III. The Ash-Calves Copy link
From burning roots and frozen rivers, the first Gahlians crawled into the world. Their bodies were strange—horn-buds like unfinished crowns, white mane-hair, and skin carrying the first glow of Red and Blue. They were not taught to live. They remembered how.

IV. The First Shepherding Copy link
Iathar led the Red-born into the burning ironwoods, where ash and flame became their first teachers. Tieriess led the Blue-born across frozen rivers and glacial fields, where cold taught endurance. The split became law. Each people inherited their Mother’s wild.

V. The Hunger Trials Copy link
The young fed upon the land, learning themselves through what they consumed. Flame-root marrow, ember-flesh, frostfish, and glacier moss changed their blood. Their bodies hardened. Their instincts sharpened. Hunger became the first ritual of bec oming.

VI. The Horning Copy link
The horn-buds began to grow. Reds twisted upward like burning branches, glowing with inner heat. Blues hardened into pale crystal-antlers, cold and sharp as frozen bone. This was the first visible proof that Gahl still lived inside them.

VII. The First Horizon Copy link
For the first time, both peoples climbed beyond their wilds and saw the world stretched before them. Fire and frost met at the valley’s center, neither dominant. There they understood the world was larger than inheritance. The divide could be crossed.

VIII. The Council of Horns Copy link
The elders gathered beneath ancient standing stones, marked by flame and frost. Here the first tribal laws were spoken—not through peace, but through memory and challenge. Red and Blue began to shape themselves into peoples. Strength became tradition.

IX. The First Great Hunt Copy link
A world-beast rose from the deep wilds, too vast for either tribe alone. Red and Blue met in the hunt—not as allies, but as rivals chasing the same blood. In battle, they recognized each other’s rhythm. The hunt revealed their kinship.

X. The Valley of Becoming Copy link
When the beast fell, the Gahlians stood together over a world they had conquered side by side. Fire and frost no longer felt separate, but part of one greater inheritance. Beneath the dawn, the divided blood of Gahl became whole in memory. And the age of the Twin Tribes began.
