The impact awakens Kar, the Moon, whose essence is forever bound to both Rhun and Vel. Beneath the world, the Heart's tendrils entangle themselves around Rhunatha, the exposed mind of the planet.
Rhunatha, the brain stem of Rhun gets exposed from his body (the planet), and is entangled with Vel’s heart tendrils deep below.
Though wounded, Zal ignites the first Sun Stronghold above Rhuna. From its beacon, new and injured gods gather to continue the hunt for Vel's missing head.
Beneath the first eclipse, Sun and Moon stand together. Zal falls in love with Kar, unaware that traces of Vel still linger within her reflection.
From secrecy, desire, and deception, Xantyr is born. Hidden upon the dark side of the moon, the child of Fate grows beyond the sight of gods and stars alike.
At last, Zal discovers the corruption hidden within Kar. The taint is burned away, but the purification takes memories with it—including the child she once concealed.
Forgotten by his mother and unseen by the heavens, Xantyr wanders the dark side of the moon. There he hears the distant voice of Vel calling him toward Rhuna.
Vel calls to Xantyr to leap to Rhuna, to see what he can offer him.
Seeking purpose, Xantyr descends into the crater left by Vel's heart. There he discovers the three Seed-Stones and the destiny that will reshape Rhuna forever.
