Joining a Pahric College – The Spiral of Sight Copy link
"You do not come to the Library to learn what you wish. You come to discover what you were meant to know." – Oracular Keeper Zeylith of Veylan
The Great Library of Zemek’Thal does not simply admit students; it awakens them. Joining a College means committing your life to one strand of the Pahric vision, becoming part of the living mind of Demuria and Onerra. Each initiate begins as an observer of truth, gradually ascending through deeper layers of insight and responsibility until they are no longer merely students of fate, but shapers of its course.
The Path to Entry – The Silent Path Copy link
Every aspirant must first complete the Silent Path, a journey through Demuria’s dreamlands while blindfolded, guided only by inner rhythm and star-sense. If they reach Onerra’s Gate of Breath without being turned back by Demuria’s illusions, they are deemed worthy to stand before the Veil-Watchers—the elite examiners of the Library.
Acceptance requires two acts:
• The Crafting of a Veyli, a puzzle-archive containing a personal truth encoded in Threadlines.
• The Silent Identification, where the aspirant must correctly discern a single mirage from a truth in the reflection pools of Onerra.
Upon success, the aspirant is granted a Santeshaar Cloak of blank white and enters the Spiral of Sight.
The Spiral of Sight – Ranks of the Great Library Copy link
These ranks describe responsibilities and traditions, not a separate advancement track. Resolve uncertain actions through existing Rhuna Pathways, Training, Keywords, Time and token procedures. Joining does not itself grant automatic success, extra Training, roll advantage, a once-per-rest power or control over past or future events.
Progression within the Library reflects a deepening understanding of fate, from observing its patterns to actively shaping them.

Specialization by College – Gifts of the Seven Spires Copy link
Joining a Pahric College unlocks its exclusive Major Topic, rooted in that College’s discipline. The Minor Topic examples below suggest narrower focuses for study; they do not automatically grant additional Topic slots. College membership and rank grant no stat bonus, extra Training, token bonus or separate action power. Record the College and Topic together; ordinary Performance rules still resolve their use.

Becoming Part of the Library Copy link
To join a College is to surrender personal ambition to a greater purpose. Every student’s Veyli is stored within the Great Library; when they rise to Sandspeaker, their soul itself is said to dwell in the shelves, whispering to future generations. The Great Library of Zemek’Thal is not merely a school—it is the world’s memory, alive with the voices of those who vowed to guide it.
