Belonging Beyond AncestryCopy link

The Unbound include Stranded, Irenuk, and Zhe of Nuhlrin, Vathian, or Orvah heritage, including mixed ancestries. Astralkin are excluded. An Unbound identity describes culture, belonging, or a way of life; it is not a fifth Origin and does not erase a person’s underlying heritage.

These communities are shaped by displacement, shared survival, life in the Wild, and relationships with Rhuna’s creatures. A person may retain the heritage of their Origin while belonging to Stranded, Irenuk, or Zhe culture.

Stranded Copy link

The Stranded are a people shaped by survival.

Their identity carries the influence of displacement, hardship, adaptation, and the practical cultures that emerge when survival matters more than preserving what once was.

What began in circumstance became identity.

Irenuk Copy link

The Irenuk are associated with nomadic life and the wild places through which they travel.

Movement itself has shaped their communities, producing traditions suited not to remaining within a single permanent center, but to carrying home with them.

Zhe Copy link

The Zhe possess beastlike characteristics and a strong association with instinctual understanding.

Their varied heritages demonstrate that there is no single body or appearance shared by The Unbound.

Their communities can include Nuhlrin, Vathian, and Orvah heritages.
