WorldKeeper Tokens represent the forces of Rhuna that exist beyond the direct control of the Heroes. Unlike Hero Tokens, they do not belong to an individual character or become part of a Hero Bag. Instead, they are held and used by the WorldKeeper to allow the world itself to respond, develop, and change through play.
WorldKeeper Tokens may introduce divine influence, circumstance, uncertainty, opportunity, consequence, and narrative direction. Their purpose is not simply to make Performances more difficult or unpredictable, but to give the larger forces of Rhuna a physical presence at the table.
The primary WorldKeeper Tokens are Favor Tokens, held within the separate Favor Bag. When Favor is called upon, these tokens determine which divine force answers and may awaken upon the Star Grid, allowing the Gazes of the Deities to influence the developing story.
